1. Who you are contracting with

UnbankedU is operated by Maximus Holdings ("UnbankedU", "we", "us"). By purchasing or using any UnbankedU program, the Learning Center, the S.O.S. Orientation, the S.O.S. Guide, or any other part of this site (together, the "Service"), you are entering into an agreement with Maximus Holdings.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, purchasing a program, or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You confirm that you are of legal age to enter into this agreement and, if enrolling on behalf of an organization, that you have authority to bind it.

3. What we provide

UnbankedU provides educational content, frameworks, worksheets, checklists, and advisory sessions about digital asset ownership, self-custody, security, recovery planning, and treasury organization. Access is granted for your personal use in line with the program you purchased.

4. Education only — no financial advice

All content is for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not financial, investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any digital asset. UnbankedU is not a broker, dealer, exchange, custodian, or investment adviser. We never take custody of your assets and never ask for your seed phrase or private keys. All decisions you make about your assets are yours alone, and you are solely responsible for the outcomes, including any loss of funds.

5. Your account and acceptable use

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam.
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of UnbankedU or any third party.
• Share, resell, redistribute, or publicly post program materials or account access.
• Interfere with the security of the Service, including malware, probing, scraping, or circumventing access limits.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.

6. Intellectual property and licence

Maximus Holdings retains all ownership of the Service and its intellectual property, including the 7 Layers of Sovereignty™ framework, the F.O.R.T. framework, the Sovereign Operating System, all course materials, software, documentation, and branding. On purchase you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the materials included in your program for your own education.

7. Payment, billing and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Our own refund window is set out in our Refund Policy.

8. Service availability

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Content, lessons, and features may be updated, added, or retired over time.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment or chargeback, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination your right to access program materials ends.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, lost assets, lost data, or loss of goodwill. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not permit exclusion.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Maximus Holdings against claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your breach of these terms, or content you submit.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

13. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Maximus Holdings is established, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
